Education in Nepal

Education is the process of facilitating learning. Knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits of a group of people are transferred to other people, through storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, or research. Education frequently takes place under the guidance of educators, but learners may also educate themselves in a process called autodidactic learning. Any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational.- wikipedia

Universities in Nepal
There are six universities in Nepal at present. These are:


 (SLC Board of Nepal) The Office Of The Controller Of Examinations (OCE) is established under the Government of Nepal/Ministry of Education. Its main functions are to manage and conduct the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) Examinations. The first SLC Examinations were held in 1934 (1990BS). Since then several improvements have occurred in the practice of conducting SLC Examination.
