Minister for Commerce and Supplies, Ganeshman Pun, has said that obstruction in supply of daily essentials and petroleum products at border points has created negative impact in country's economy as well as humanitarian crisis.
Minister Pun said so while addressing the 10th ministerial-level conference of World Trade Organisation (WTO), taking place at Nairobi in Kenya.
He also stressed that all WTO member countries should respect all the agreements and bring them into practice.
Similarly, the Supply Minister congratulated Afghanistan and Liberia for their success to get membership of the WTO.
In his statement, Minister Pun said that the country has entered into a new era along with peace, stability and inclusiveness following the promulgation of a democratic and inclusive constitution. He also urged all the WTO members mainly the close neighbours to provide necessary support to Nepal to be integrated into the global economy. RSS
